Goring Weather

Goring-on-Thames weather as presented on “BBC South Today”

Ace Twinning photographer, Adrian T, took these pictures, which were broadcast by the BBC South Today whilst giving the local weather forecast.

The BBC Regions invite their viewers to submit pictures of their locality to be shown with the local weather forecasts which are broadcast at lunchtime and in the early evening.

As Goring gets BBC South Today, Adrian has submitted a number of digital pictures to them over the past year or so.

The first of the two pictures of the river was taken on a cold frosty morning, Monday 21 November 2005,  looking from a river garden downstream to The Swan at Streatley.

The second was taken on Friday 25 November 2005 from under the bridge by the lock.

The picture of the oil seed rape was taken on 11 May 2006 at midday on the B4009 between Streatley and Aldworth.
